Our Mission here at First is to tell everyone about God's Love - which is given to us in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. In keeping with that mission, our pastor preaches Christ and Him Crucified. So, when you come to our church, you might not hear about how to balance your checkbook. But you will hear about what we like to call the Law and the Gospel.

First there is the Law which we hear from God's Word and it tells us about our failure to do what God demands of us. This Law shows us that we cannot save ourselves, so we need to hear the "Gospel". The "Gospel" is the Good News that God sent Jesus to die in our place and thus forgive every one of our sins. Our Church exists to tell this wonderful message!
